We hear fluctuations in sound that is the difference between the two frequencies when two sounds are played that are close in pitch to one another.

Your brain senses a beat at the difference between two tones that you hear, one in each ear, and which have slightly different frequencies.

It has been demonstrated in laboratory studies that these fluctuations in sounds can synchronize and entrain our brains into the corresponding brainwave state, whether it be delta, theta, alpha, or gamma. Audio with suitably incorporated binaural beats has been shown to induce and enhance the synchronized brain waves that have long been linked to states of meditation.

Currently, supporters of this method of therapy advise using it to treat disorders related to anxiety, stress, and other associated conditions. This self-help therapy is typically offered as audio files that a person listens to while wearing stereo headphones.

Different types of frequency patterns:

- Binaural sounds in the delta pattern have been linked to a dreamless sleep and operate at a frequency of 0.5–4 Hz. According to electroencephalogram (EEG) brain scan data, participants in the study who had a delta pattern frequency during sleep progressed into a deeper stage of sleep.

Benefits of delta pattern binaural:

-Relief from pain and healing

-Meditation

-Deep sleep

-Cortisol reduction/DHEA enhancement in anti-aging

-Gaining access to the subconscious

- Theta pattern

Binaural beats in the Theta pattern are tuned to a frequency of 4–7 Hz . Theta patterns help with meditation, creativity, and REM (rapid eye movement) phase sleep.

Binaural beats in the alpha pattern, which range in frequency from 7 to 13 Hz, may promote relaxation.

Beta pattern binaural sound have a frequency between 13 and 30 Hz. This frequency range might aid in enhancing focus and alertness. However, at the upper side of the scale, it can also make people more anxious.

Gamma pattern :

30-100 Hz for gamma pattern. These brain waves, which have a frequency greater than beta, aid in:

>greater cognitive improvement

>Paying close enough attention, increases memory recall.

>Unusual thinking, which is a sign of creativity.
